SHINICHI　KOTSUJI　pottery

We were attracted to the rough and rich clay of Iga and established the workshop in Iga. We do not refine the clay to a high degree of purity, but rather leave impurities such as pebbles and iron in the clay. The simple texture, earthiness, and strength of nature are embodied in our pottery. In addition, the modern and well-designed vessels, which are different from traditional crafts, are in harmony with the elements of today's life, and have been accepted by the sensibilities of people in Japan and abroad.
